Archidendron grandiflorum, also known as Fairy Paint Brush or Pink Lace Flower, is an uncommon but spectacular flowering tree that can be found in vine thickets close to Townsville.
This one was photographed at Cape Cleveland, growing at the base of a granite cliff which provides shade.
