Form and Size: A small to medium, bushy shrub, 1-2.5m high, having many angular to flattened branches and numerous short, crowded, angular to flattened branchlets with small, stiff scale leaves at the nodes

Distribution: Northern parts of Qld. and N.T.; usually in red gravelly or sandy soils

Leaves: Reduced to scales

Flowers: Pea-shaped, yellow, about 0.7cm across; borne in short terminal racemes 5-20cm long; calyx about 0.9cm long

Flowering Period: June to September

Fruit: Pods, egg-shaped to oblong, about 0.7cm long

Cultivation/Notes: Propagate from treated seed or cuttings. Needs full sun and well drained soil.
