Form and Size: Slender shrub to 3m

Distribution: Sandstone hills of the White Mountains, Gilbert River headwaters and near Ewan, in north Qld

Phyllodes: Smooth, straight or slightly curved, broadest at the outer end, pointed, 8-12cm x 0.3-0.6cm; 3 prominent longitudinal veins

Flowers: Yellow ball flowers in clusters

Flowering Period: February to June

Fruit: Pods, smooth, flat, 5-9cm x 0.8cm; raised over the seed alternately

Cultivation/Notes: Propagate from treated seed. Best if planted in dense groups of three or more plants
