Acacia hyaloneura Mimosaceae

Form and Size: Shrub to 3m tall, with yellowish, angular branchlets

Distribution: Central Qld., from Clermont to White Mountains; and N.T.; on shallow rocky soils

Phyllodes: Straight, a small apical point, 6-11cm x 0.6-1cm; prominent midrib and numerous other longitudinal veins

Flowers: Yellow spikes, 2.5-3cm long, in pairs in the leaf axils

Flowering Period: May to July

Fruit: Pods, smooth, margins thickened, 6-8cm x 0.5-0.7cm

Cultivation/Notes: Propagate from treated seed
