Form and Size: A small tree to 5m high, with a gnarled appearance

Distribution: Areas on the Great Dividing Range in inland Qld; often on boggy areas and sometimes on sandstone ridges

Leaves: Scale-like, very small, clasped to the branches

Bark: Dark, papery

Flowers: White to mauve; borne in cylindrical spikes to 3cm long

Flowering Period: November to January

Fruit: Capsules, woody

Cultivation/Notes: Propagate from seed
