Form and Size: A many branched shrub to small tree

Distribution: Dry and littoral rainforests, eucalypt forests

Leaves: Simple, alternative, often pubescent on lower surface
Entirely deciduous

Flowers: White with five free petals, clustered in groups of 3 to 5. Creamy white, perfumed, occurring August-December

Fruit: A woody capsule, splitting into 5-7 valves at maturity and revealing black seeds

Cultivation Notes: A hardy plant which requires well drained soil. Needs pruning to maintain shape, but is a rewarding flowering plant.
