Form and Size: Small shrub, 1-2m high, with angular branchlets

Distribution: Inland northern Qld.; on shallow, stony soils

Phyllodes: Thick, leathery, blunt, sickle- shaped, 3-6cm x 1-2.5cm

Flowers: Yellow spikes, 1-2cm long, borne singly or in pairs in the leaf axils

Flowering Period: October to February and sporadic

Fruit: Pods, woody, thick, reddish-brown, tapering to the base, 4-5cm x 0.9-1.2cm; seeds oblique in the pod

Cultivation/Notes: Propagate from treated seed. Requires well drained soil and full sun
